Hygienist, Mary, provides my cleanings. She is excellent & very thorough as is Dr. Shlafer & his staff. My husband & I are really pleased with Dr. Shlafer practice.

I have always been terrified of dentists and because of that my oral health was extremely poor. In just one day, Marybeth (Dr. Schlafer's assistant) got me into the office of Dr. Schlafer. Prior to this one day in advance appt., My teeth were in horrible shape seething in constant agony and pain. However, when I walked into his office (Soo nervous that tears fell down my cheeks) Marybeth greeted me, as did Dr. Schlafer with compassion and genuine care which immediately alleviated all of my fears... While in Dr. Schlafer's chair, amazingly, I never felt a needle or pain. Never. I would recommend Dr. Schlafer to absolutely anyone because he is the best dentist in the state of Michigan... In fact, already my mother and son will be making an appt with him. He is also extremely fair with his pricing, which is quite rare today among the dental community. I intend on getting my teeth done by Dr. Schlafer for the rest of my life because he has taken my dental phobias completely away!
